Kyra and Riko (colt)

Kyra gave birth to a beautiful bay colt today at 11:00 A.M. He is a Saddlebred out of the sire-Designed. Kyra had a tough time and was very tired but is now rested and doing much better. The colt is very big and strong and eating very well.

Kyra and Meadow are neck and neck as far as their progress. Both mares are due March 28th and both mares are getting uncomfortable. Stacy bets on Kyra to foal first and I think Meadow will. Who will be right. One of us no drought! The count down begins with 9 days to go. Any one else care to take a guess?

Both mares are due the same day!!! Who will foal first? I am thinking Meadow and Stacy thinks Kyra will have a filly and foal first. We already know Meadow is having a colt. The web cam is up and running and the count down begins. 18 days to go. It takes 340 (average) days for a mare to have a healthy foal but I swear the last 3 weeks are the longest for them and us. They are uncomfortable and we are excited. So pray that all goes well for these 2 beautiful Saddlebred mares.
